Linnut, meaning "bird" in Finnish, is a collection born from a collaboration between Magis, Iittala, and Oiva Toikka. It originally began as the "Birds Collection," a blown-glass collection designed by Oiva Toikka for Iittala in the 1970s. Now, Magis has released Linnut, a rechargeable LED portable lamp crafted from rotationally molded polycarbonate. The lamp strives to replicate the texture of the Birds design found in blown glass as closely as possible, resulting in a beautiful finish that makes the glass Birds appear to glow.
