Landi Chair
Designed for the 1939 World's Fair in Switzerland, the Landi Chair is one of the most important pieces in 20th-century design history. Now considered a classic, this chair pioneered a completely new style: a three-dimensionally molded seat shell with integrated back and seat resting on a freestanding base. The seat shell and base are made entirely of aluminum. Two U-shaped sections are connected by a bar to form the freestanding base, which also functions as legs and armrests. The 91 holes in the seat shell not only reduce weight and provide comfortable flexibility, but also contribute to the Landi Chair's striking, iconic design. Lightweight and stackable, it's durable and weather-resistant. Source: https://www.sempre.jp/
