Tip Ton RE Deep Black
Edward Barber & Jay Osgerby have revisited this highly successful design, first launched in 2011, and developed a version made from recycled plastic, Tipton RE. This recycled plastic is made from a variety of household waste materials, especially plastic packaging, and it reduces carbon dioxide emissions by 54% compared to petroleum-based plastics, and also significantly reduces fuel consumption. Made from a mixture of recycled plastic and glass fibre, Tipton RE meets Vitra's high quality standards for safety and durability. The dark grey colour is the natural colour of the recycled plastic, characterised by small specks here and there. Tipton RE is 100% recyclable and can be stacked up to four chairs.
