A simple monotone mobile. It was created in the early 1940s as part of an experiment conducted by Charles and Ray Eames to improve their molded plywood technology. It was also hung from the ceiling of the couple's apartment in Los Angeles. The mobile is made of two parts made of molded plywood, with organic shapes reminiscent of Ray Eames' artwork and graphic designs. The gentle curves and the high-quality feel that only wood can provide. The way it sways with the flow of air and wind gives movement and healing to the space. Please note that the grain of each piece of wood is different. [Designed in 1941] [Free shipping] Source: https://www.sempre.jp/
