Rayonnage Mural Oak x Blue Marcoule
Rayonnage Mural is a modular wall shelf that is often seen in interiors from the first half of the 20th century. It was created by Jean Prouvé in 1936 for an educational facility in Metz, France. It features a streamlined form reminiscent of an airplane or ship's rudder, incorporating his characteristic design applications. The two vertical wall brackets are made of steel sheets that have been painted after bending. The metal brackets are notched and the solid wood shelves are inserted horizontally. The contrasting combination of metal and wood is not only beautiful in design, but also practical. It is assembled and fixed to the wall with metal fittings. [Designed in 1936] *As this is a made-to-order product, please refrain from canceling your order after it has been placed. *Please check the material of the wall you are installing it on. Please note that it cannot be installed on walls that do not have a core material inside, such as plasterboard. Source: https://www.sempre.jp/
