Prismatic Table Light Gray Three-Tone
The Prismatic Table's geometric form is composed of three powder-coated, folded sheets of aluminum. Isamu Noguchi was inspired by traditional Japanese origami. Viewed from above, the three diamond shapes create a hexagonal pinwheel-like shape, with the base folded into triangular legs, reminiscent of origami. This three-part table creates the impression of a three-dimensional mosaic. This reissue combines the three shades of gray envisioned by Isamu Noguchi in his original design, creating a truly kaleidoscopic effect. In the mid-1950s, the Aluminum Company of America (ALCOA) was established to promote the use of aluminum in design and architecture, with the participation of Isamu Noguchi, Alexander Girard, and Charles and Ray Eames. The Prismatic Table was one of the products conceived under this program. [Designed in 1957] [Free Shipping] Source: https://www.sempre.jp/
