The Potence wall light fixture, created in the early 1940s, is considered a masterpiece of functionalist design. Elegant and striking, it features a simple design: a light bulb attached to a swinging steel arm supported by wires. The Vitra Design Museum archives hold several versions of the Potence, including a smaller version known as the Petite Potence, which was reissued by Vitra after extensive analysis.
