The BKF Chair, also known as the "Butterfly Chair," was designed by three Argentine designers (Antonio Bonet, Juan Kurchan, and Jorge Ferrari-Hardoy) and named after their initials. While they all worked under Le Corbusier, one of the most influential architects of the 20th century, the BKF Chair's influence is not apparent. Rather, it was inspired by a chair designed by British engineer Joseph Fenby in 1855 and was created in 1938. It was especially popular among young people in the 1950s and 1960s, rivaling the popularity of the Eames. This chair requires assembly. Source: https://www.sempre.jp/
