The Pepper Bird Pepper Mill
This high-quality Pepper Bird (pepper mill) combines functionality and decorativeness. It was created in the late 1950s by Sven Erik Tonn Petersen, a self-taught Danish designer. The Pepper Bird and the Salt Penguin (sold separately) go well together, and these two design icons have been almost inseparable since the late 1950s. A few years later, the Pepper Bird that everyone has seen gradually disappeared. However, since it had already become an icon of Danish design, many design lovers subsequently searched for the original Pepper Bird at flea markets and antique shops. When Spring Copenhagen renewed the Pepper Bird in 2015, it quickly became a new standard. The blade is a crushed grind ceramic grinder, which is also available at Sempre. Both salt and pepper can be used. It is a handmade wooden product assembled by hand, and there are individual differences. Source: https://www.sempre.jp/
