This fine art Giclée print was created exclusively for The Poster Club by Amélie Lefebvre, a graphic designer and illustrator born and raised in Montreal, Canada. She works with advertising agencies, brands, and magazines on a wide range of projects, including illustration, branding, packaging design, animation, and typography. "Each project brings a new way of thinking, and sometimes even a different way of constructing images. It's like starting from scratch every time, which is both stimulating and rewarding," says Amélie. With a knack for experimental approaches, she employs digital, collage, and traditional media such as ink, acrylic, and oil pastels, engaging in a dynamic creative process until the desired result is achieved. "I love experimenting with different materials and enjoying unexpected coincidences, but I also like to control the images I'm creating using Photoshop," she explains. Here, composition and color, combined with the textures created by cut-outs and textures, result in a work that harmonizes precision and improvisation.
