This is the "BRIGHTON FLOOR LAMP" floor light from ACME FURNITURE. The design is inspired by American vintage lamps from the 1930s. It is designed with a particular focus on the wooden base decorated with a lathe, a machine tool for cutting. You can loosen the wing nut on the swivel at the joint by hand to move the lamp to your desired height and shade angle. A cast iron weight is built into the base to prevent the fixture from tipping over. The switch is a foot switch in the middle of the cord.
