This tapestry is made from three classic indigo patterns by BasShu. The patterns, which are applied to the indigo fabric using traditional discharge printing techniques, are all original to BasShu, and the tapestry is made by patchworking the three patterns. This is a tapestry flag with the Stars and Stripes pattern arranged in a 100% cotton selvedge fabric woven on an old-fashioned power loom. The finish is a unique wash process that adds a deep color unique to indigo to give it the feel of old cloth.
