The "GS Tribal Rug" is a cotton rug from the STUSSY Livin' GENERAL STORE. This cotton rug was developed in collaboration with a textile manufacturer known for its high level of craftsmanship and sensibility. The STUSSY-esque tribal pattern is oversized and printed at one of the few long-established hand-printing factories in operation since the 1960s. The fabric is then backed with a thick black fabric, creating just the right thickness and stiffness. Each rug also features carefully hand-sewn linen fringes on both ends. Not only is the all-over pattern carefully hand-printed, but its low pile makes it suitable for year-round interior décor, and its cotton material allows it to be washed for easy maintenance.
