Eki Clock

The station clocks located in both the east and west concourses of Sapporo Station have been turned into wall clocks, retaining the original design. To make them easier to see from below, the numbers from halfway down are all designed to face upwards. The original numbers create a beautiful, easy-to-read dial design befitting a station clock, and the clock frame is made from aluminum sand casting (machined), with the distance between the dial and the glass kept to a minimum, achieving the ultimate basic design for a clock.
