T46 Coffee Table, birch
This minimalist equilateral triangle coffee table was designed by Hein Stolle in 1946. It is made from plywood, known for its beautiful laminated surface and ability to age gracefully, formed into a coffee table through artistic bending. Fifty-five years after its design, in 2001, ISOKON acquired the production rights, and it was first commercialized. The form, created by cutting a single 7-ply sheet of plywood into an equilateral triangle and then bending it, is thin and lightweight yet strong, with a minimalist design that leverages the properties of plywood. Because it has minimal contact with the floor and is lightweight, it is also recommended for use in Japanese-style rooms. You can choose from three wood types: birch, oak, and walnut.Source:https://metrocs.jp/
