Nesting Table
Designed by Marcel Breuer in 1936, this is the classic plywood nesting table. Cut and formed from a single 11mm thick birch plywood sheet, it was described at the time as "the simplest table ever." Unlike solid wood, plywood maintains strength even when thin and allows for flexible forms. This minimal table, which takes advantage of these plywood characteristics, remains a timeless masterpiece of modern design. Breuer is one of the most representative designers of the Bauhaus. His plywood furniture series is hailed as a symbol of 20th-century furniture design and continues to be a cornerstone of interior design today. The simple table can be used anywhere and comes in two sizes: Medium and Large. The Medium size can be completely nested under the slightly larger Large size. It can be used individually or in combination.Source:https://metrocs.jp/
