CASE STUDY ZABUTON CUSHION Case Study Zabuton Cushion
This is the "ZABUTON CUSHION" from journal standard Furniture's CASE STUDY series. This cushion, crafted with the popular JFK SOFA fabric, is part of a series designed for Japanese people who want to "sit, relax, and sit"—a kotatsu, cross-legged seat, floor chair, or zabuton cushion. It can be used as a relaxing cushion, as well as an ottoman or stool. The urethane beads are produced entirely in Japan. While the standard beads are 3mm and 5mm, we deliberately chose 1mm, which is less likely to flatten. This results in a soft, plump texture. The large width and depth, combined with the low height, create a comfortable feel in any room. The fabric, depth, and width match those of the same series' floor chairs, creating a clean, low-profile look when paired together. Source: https://www.truss.jp/
