Ulm Stool
The Ulm Stool was born from a design that combined multiple functions, including a stool suitable for work desks, lectures, and cafe terraces, a side table, a portable function, and a tray for books. Its stripped-away design embodies the Bauhaus philosophy, making it a truly iconic stool. At the Ulm School of Design, it was used not only as a chair, but also as a side desk, a step stool, and a place to carry textbooks. Reflecting the rational and functional principles of the Bauhaus school, this minimalist stool's extremely simple U-shape exudes a streamlined, functional aesthetic. It can be used upside down or in other ways, and the horizontal bar can also be used as a handle for carrying. The body is made of lightweight, flexible spruce, weighing approximately 2.5 kg, making it easy for even a woman to carry with one hand. Source: https://www.truss.jp/
