The Model S.16 industrial chair features the so-called "compass legs" characteristic of the Dutch mid-century period. It's available in the 2023 spot color, "gray/caribbean blue." The Model S16 industrial chair was produced in the late 1950s and early 1960s, combining affordability with practicality and durability to withstand heavy use in public facilities such as schools, offices, hospitals, and dining halls. Its popularity has since expanded to many facilities across Japan, making it one of the company's signature products. While once discontinued, the S16, which has a global following as a vintage piece, resumed production in 2014.
