WIRE CHAIR Copper
In 1951, Charles and Ray Eames, along with their design staff, began researching bending and joining wire, resulting in the creation of the Wire Mesh Chair. To achieve strength and an organic shape, the Eameses made the chair's frame out of thin wire and gave it a double structure. Its lightness is also maintained because only the areas that require strength are reinforced. Each rod is carefully bent to create a light and beautiful silhouette. The special copper plating allows you to enjoy the color that changes over time. The design also makes the room look larger without feeling oppressive. A seat pad is included as standard, providing a plump and elastic seating experience. Source: https://www.truss.jp/
