This is the classic French modern desk "F031 (Petite Desk)" designed by Pierre Paulin in the 1950s. The original was designed by Pierre Paulin at the French company Thonet, and was only manufactured for about 10 years from 1956. Unlike the organic designs that are generally known as Paulin's designs from the 1960s onwards, this desk has a simple form that pursues functionality, and was called a "petite desk" because it was compact compared to the average desk size in Europe at that time. However, this is only in comparison with the European size, and it is a moderate size for Japanese houses. This desk is a faithful reproduction and reproduction of the Polan-designed F031 down to the smallest details. With a depth of about 60 cm, it is large enough to comfortably install a desktop PC, and the drawer has storage capacity for A3-sized documents. It is produced at a furniture factory in Asahikawa, a furniture production area, with the highest level of technology and quality. The finish makes use of the beautiful grain of natural wood, and its light yet calm appearance harmonizes with a variety of interiors and creates a high-quality space. It can be used for a wide range of purposes, from home use to office desks. *The standard specification is that the drawer is on the right side, but the position of the drawer can be changed to the left side.
