Pierre Paulin F061 Sideboard Oak
This is a sideboard from the same series as the F031 desk, designed by Pierre Paulin in the 1950s. The original was a sideboard designed by Pierre Paulin for Thonet in France and was manufactured for only about 10 years starting in 1956. Unlike Paulin's more widely known organic designs from the 1960s onwards, this piece features a simple form that prioritizes functionality. This reproduced and reissued sideboard faithfully recreates every detail of that Paulin design. It can be used alongside the F031 desk as it shares the same height and texture. The drawers offer ample storage, accommodating A3-sized documents. Production is handled by a furniture factory in Asahikawa, a renowned furniture-producing region, ensuring top-tier craftsmanship and quality. The finish highlights the beautiful grain of natural wood, and its light yet dignified appearance harmonizes with various interiors, creating a sophisticated atmosphere. It is suitable for a wide range of uses, from home to office. *Wiring holes and ventilation holes can be added to the back for AV board use as an option for 2,000 yen (excluding tax) per hole.Source:https://metrocs.jp/
