Persimmon Chair Fabric/Daisaku Naga
The pinnacle of Japanese modernism, the Persimmon Chair by Daisaku Naga was reissued in 2006. Daisaku Naga redesigned the innovative chair that was unveiled at the Milan Triennale in 1960, using Japan's first racket structure (koma-in processing). The venue for the Milan Triennale was designed by Junzo Sakakura Architectural Institute, and Daisaku Naga, who was a member of the institute at the time, was in charge of furniture design. The organic lines of the back panel were inspired by the curves that form when a persimmon is split vertically down the middle. This chair fits well with Japanese living spaces and is ideal as a dining chair. It also goes well with the mushroom base table, also designed by Daisaku Naga, making it ideal as a dining chair. The fabric model is made of a wool blend material, giving it a soft and gentle impression. The basic colors selected by Daisaku Naga himself for the warm and pleasant texture of Fanbrick are dark gray (NC-128), brown (NC-123), and red (NC-107). In addition to these, you can choose from a wide range of 75 colors in total. Source: https://www.truss.jp/
