Mushroom Base Table long masterpiece
The Mushroom Base Table, a beautiful structure inspired by concrete architecture, was redesigned by Daisaku Cho himself from a table he created for the International House of Japan. It features a mushroom-like base inspired by concrete architecture and the gentle curve of the top. It is the optimal size for use as a dining table and pairs perfectly with the Persimmon Chair, also designed by Daisaku Cho. The tabletop is not square but a rectangular shape with curved edges. This form was designed so that the gaze of those seated naturally converges towards the center. It is a table with beautiful curves born from Daisaku Cho's commitment to form. Additionally, metal fittings are attached to the underside of the tabletop to prevent warping, ensuring long-lasting use.Source:https://metrocs.jp/
