Riki Mobile CHAMBRE Riki Mobile Chambre
This mobile is made of copper, the material that Riki Watanabe Design loved the most. Q Designers, led by Riki Watanabe, who was involved in the design of many showrooms and hotel lounges at the time, designed the main bar "Chambre" of the Shinbashi Daiichi Hotel in 1976. Copper, his favorite material, was also used for the interior walls, and copper was also used for the mobile hanging in the bar space. This mobile was commercialized as "Riki Mobile Chambre" in 2017. This mobile, made of a combination of copper plate and solid teak wood, combines the solidity of the material with the lightness of the form, creating a chic space. The commercial model has a vibration finish on the surface of the copper plate, giving it a calm texture. Source: https://www.truss.jp/
