The "BKF Chair," also known as the "Butterfly Chair," was designed by three Argentine designers (Antonio Bonet, Juan Kurchan, and Jorge Ferrari-Hardoy), and named BKF after their initials. They had experience working under the 20th-century architect Le Corbusier, but his influence is not strongly felt in this chair. Instead, it was inspired by a chair designed by the English engineer Josef Fenby in 1855, and was created in 1938. From the 1950s to the 1960s, it was particularly popular among young people, and its popularity was comparable to that of Charles and Ray Eames. It requires assembly.Source: https://www.truss.jp/
