BKF Butterfly Chair, Pampa Mariposa, Polo, Brown
The "BKF Chair," also known as the "Butterfly Chair," was designed by three Argentine designers (Antonio Bonet, Juan Kurchan, and Jorge Ferrari-Hardoy), and named the BKF Chair after their initials. They had experience working under Le Corbusier, one of the leading architects of the 20th century, but his influence is not strongly felt in this chair. Instead, it was inspired by a chair designed by the British engineer Joseph Fenby in 1855, and was created in 1938. It was particularly popular among young people from the 1950s to the 1960s, and its popularity was comparable to that of Charles and Ray Eames. The Pampamariposa, with its impressive stitching, uses thick 4mm leather, allowing you to enjoy a higher strength and wilder leather finish. It comes unassembled.Source: https://www.truss.jp/
