Galvanitas
De Machinekamer is a long-established Dutch furniture manufacturer. Since its founding in 1934, it has specialized in producing steel furniture for schools and public facilities. The S16 chair, an icon of industrial design from the 1950s and 1960s, has been reproduced by De Machinekamer using the original molds and manufacturing techniques. Its durability and minimalist form, stripped of all unnecessary elements, have earned it high praise.
