This work uses the techniques of Suruga Bamboo Sensuji Crafts. It is inspired by a lantern and was created as indirect lighting for spatial design, not as the main light of a room. If you use it in a dry place with good ventilation, it will have a stately color with the wabi-sabi that is unique to bamboo. The motif is the power that a flower has until a bud blooms. It is a power that is also found in traditional crafts that are produced over a long period of time and can only be made with refined techniques. Thin, rounded bamboo strips are flexibly bent and inserted into bamboo rings to create the shape. It is a process that requires a daunting level of exquisite skill and a lot of effort, but it was only possible to achieve this perfectly thanks to the craftsmanship that has been handed down for many years.
